HJ FAMOSO is owned by JoEllen Erickson and her daughter Jill Mohr. We have been breeding and showing Arabians for 15 years, and purchased the beautiful stallion HJ Famoso as our foundation sire. We have enjoyed showing him to a US National Top Ten in Halter and a Reserve National Championship at US Nationals in Western Pleasure. Our trainers are Mike Neal and Jody Strand. Our breeding goals are to produce beautiful, typey Arabians with good dispositions who can win in open and amateur classes.

HJ Famoso stole our hearts, exhibiting the beauty and disposition of his sire, MAGNUM PSYCHE, truly the Arabian sire of the century, who has produced the beautiful western pleasure and hunter offspring we admire, and the exquisite Silver Maple mare POETRY SMF. We believe his breeding reflects the policy of breeding "the best to the best" and we are very proud to stand him with Jody Strand.
