Above: invitation for Our Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Dec, 2007. This is a very joyous event with a beautiful Mariachi mass followed by a tamale feast. The children dress in traditional costumes; boys have eye brow pencil mustaches and are dressed like Juan Diego. Girls have colorful ribbons in their braids and beautiful lace and emroidery on their costumes. They process with roses to Our Lady of Guadalupe. Then then carry a tilma with her image, and open it to drop roses in a reinactment of the miracle story. Our Hispanic community celebrates with such joy and love, we are so lucky to have this tradition at St. Elizabeth's.

| Fr. Andrew processes in for the Christmas Vigil Mass at 5:30 on Christmas Eve. The children participate as shepherd boys and an angel, and Santa Claus joins in. Our little Christmas angel places the infant Jesus in the creche at the altar. |
